Applications for Reader’s Accommodation at Level Nine Wentworth Chambers
Solicitors wishing to practice at the independent bar in New South Wales must ordinarily undertake a period of 12 months readership under the supervision of one or more barristers of not less than 7 years experience.
Readers are encouraged to read with one of our members and are recommended to nominate a second tutor located in other chambers to broaden the opportunities and experience available during their readership.
Level Nine Wentworth Chambers offers accommodation of up to two readers each year for the duration of their readership. In recent years, this has seen one reader from each of the May and October Bar Practice Courses being offered accommodation.
Level Nine Wentworth Chambers is currently seeking applicants for a 12 month readership commencing October 2013. Applications for this intake close 1 June 2013
Prospective applicants should apply by sending their curriculum vitae with a covering letter to the clerk, addressed to the Floor Secretary.
